Tomorrow’s all important game at Nairne is also a special milestone for one of our veterans, Lee "Eel’’ Hughes plays his 250th game for the club. Eel joined the Brookers in 2003, when his late father Wayne was appointed coach. Since that time he has played 207 A grade games & 43 B grade, and along the way has kicked 381 goals. Lee has been a member of 3 A grade premiership sides and in 2015 coached the B grade to a flag. In recent years Eel has also done a lot of work off the field, for a number of years he organised all the merchandise for us and more recently has been the driving force behind the reverse raffle/deal or no deal, which has become a major fundraising event for the club. Congratulations Eel, well done mate.
