This weekend we have 2 massive milestone matches….

We have our Skipper and heart and soul leader Matt Gardner playing in his 250th.

Gards came to us in 2009 and has played 248 A grade and 1 B grade match, and has kicked 335 goals with his natural athleticism and tireless hard work.

He has been a member of the 2009,12,15 and 21 A grade flags including 2012 and 15 as co-captain winning the best on ground in 2015.

A HFL life member, club life member and multiple club award winner, Gards is loved by all around the club and highly respected throughout the league. He leads from the front and always holds the clubs interests above his own. A true club legend and a fantastic bloke to boot. Congrats Gards, heres hoping theres another 250 games in you!
